TODAY AT GRACE
TODAY Pastor Rick will begin a new series of messages for the Advent
season. See the insert in your bulletin today for details!
OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of November is designated for
Grace Mission & Outreach. This offering will be received today.
CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leader Lisa Braendle & Greeter Hennie Rosema.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leader Sandy Farris & Greeter Chelsea Boeve.
A CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held following the morning service.
Election of Elders & Deacons will be held, the proposed budget will
be presented and other church business will be discussed.
CHILDREN of all ages meet in the Fellowship Hall with Darrell for special
activities during the Congregational Meeting. Older Youth…we need
your help with the younger children. NO SUNDAY SCHOOL
CLASSES WILL BE HELD. Teachers may attend the meeting.
SUNDAYS AT SIX – Join us in the Chapel for our service tonight. A time
of discussion will follow the message.

PRAYERS & PRAISE
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to the families of the
following Grace members:
Genevieve Kroon who passed away on Friday, November 16 at the
age of 88. Services were held on Tuesday, November 20 at Grace
with Pastor Rick officiating.
Ann Rozema who passed away on Tuesday, November 20 at the
age of 88. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 24th.
We thank God for the lives and witness of these faithful Christian
women who were members of Grace for a very long time.
CONGRATULATIONS are extended to Lacey Wylie and Chad Thorner who
were united in marriage Friday, November 23rd in Wisconsin.
May God bless you with many years of happiness together!

CHURCH HERALD – The Consistory has decided to continue with the
every member plan of subscribing to the Church Herald. You DO
NOT need to renew your subscription. We, as a church, will
continue with the every member subscription plan paid by Grace.
NOTICE: CARING SHEPHERDS the TRAINING SESSION that was scheduled
for tomorrow has been cancelled.
MAKING THE BUDGET – We are glad to announce that Peter & Pat Cook
have graciously offered to make up half of our deficit by years end if
the congregation will make up the other half. We are appreciative for
this challenge. Congregation, can you help? Any creative ideas?
Let’s rise to the challenge for Christ and His church.
WYOMING CHRISTMAS STORE – HELP!!! Tags remain on the tree! These
tags represent specific children so they need to be picked up! Will
you consider taking another tag until they are gone? Please bring
your gifts to church by December 2. A few volunteers are still needed
to serve as shoppers assistants and wrappers. Sign up in the narthex.
BEING THE HANDS PROGRAM – Gifts can still be purchased for this
program at DeVos Children’s Hospital. Needed are gifts for older
youth and adults. Gifts of any amount are appreciated. We will be
going to the hospital on Wednesday, December 12. Drop off these
gifts in the office opposite the Chapel. Assistance is needed on Wed.,
Dec. 5 to help unload cars as the gifts come in from other churches
and help with set up of the store. Questions…see Shari Dood.
COOKIES IN NOVEMBER – For the month of November cookies will be
available after the morning service. You will find a cookie jar on the
table in the narthex. Donations for the cookies are designated for the
AT Children’s Project. All donations gratefully accepted!
NEW NURSERY SCHEDULES will be put together soon! Many volunteers
are needed. Even if you can only help a couple times a year, please
sign up on the narthex table. If you have helped in the past, there is
no need to sign up again…we will automatically schedule you. Please
Note: All nursery workers High School age and above must have
attended a meeting on the Child Protection Policy. Another meeting
will be planned soon.
ALASKA MISSION ADVENTURES CELEBRATION DINNER to be held
Thursday, November 29 at Rosewood Ref. Church Youth Building in
Jenison. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm followed by a presentation
on future development from 7:30 – 8:30 pm. Donations are helpful
but not necessary. To place your reservations, contact Ruth at
834-2575 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
PRAISES 4 HIM, a Southern Gospel Quartet, now has a CD available for
purchase. As you know, Ben Van Kammen, is a member of that
Group and a former member of Grace. If you are interested in
purchasing a CD, contact Ben or we have some available in the
