Prayers & Praise Line

November 25, 2012

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • Jesus we just want to thank you for our many blessings; for family and friends, for tables filled with healthy good food, for warm homes and clothes, for our church, our Pastor, and our church family…most of all Jesus, we are thankful that you gave your life to pay for our sins, so we can live with you forever!
  • We thank and praise God for the birth of Nylah Hope Boeve. We pray for Tim, Lyndsey, and Addison as they welcome this new little life into their family.
  • We pray today for the Hendges family and for all those who have recently lost loved ones.
  • Remember Marge Veldheer in your prayers as she undergoes surgery on Thursday.
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Lola De Young, Curt Boes, Dan De Vries, Brian Benthin.
  • Continue to keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers: Amie Pierce, Adam Simons and Justin Roelofs.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs. Jane Duthler, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Anne Hoezee, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris, Mr Ralph Bolt.

Church Plant Prayer Focus

The first of many dinners with Connection's families was held at the parsonage on Tuesday evening. We are so thankful for those families and a home in Wyoming to host them.

Fathers were the focus of our prayer time last week. We praise God for answered prayers. One beloved step-dad met their heavenly Father and another dad received news of an available heart for a transplant.

Connections is grateful for this special offering for the month of November. As Grace gives life to this neighborhood outreach, we cherish this relationship and appreciate your support corporately and individually, through prayers and offerings. Your congregational support enables this new ministry to reach out to the neighbors and feed the spirits and the bodies that live in our community. Your offerings to Connections, apart from your tithe to Grace, carry forward your vision for a new ministry to reach the unchurched. Please consider being a Connected Connections’ partner with a gift of $20 per week for 20 weeks. Please see Pastor George if you feel led to be a financial partner.
