CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Room 1 in the Discovery
Kids hallway with Worship Leaders Lisa Braendle & Hennie
Rosema. Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room
with Worship Leaders Jennifer Moody and Samantha
Johnson. You will be dismissed during the offering time.

OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of November is designated for
Pastor Dave Jansen and CenterPoint Church. Their classis has
agreed to purchase land for their church to build on in the future,
however, before Classis can finalize this purchase of land,
CenterPoint has the responsibility of getting all the required site
plans completed. This special offering will be received during
the regular offering time. You can use your “special
offering” envelope in your budget box, or designate it on
your regular offering envelope. Also pew envelopes are
available to use.

A CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be held following the morning service.
Election of Elders & Deacons will be held, the proposed 2007 budget
will be presented and other church business will be discussed.

CHILDREN of all ages meet in the Fellowship Hall with Darrell for special
activities during the Congregational Meeting. Middle School
students are asked to help in the nursery. High School students,
please meet in the Fellowship Hall to help with the younger children.
NO SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES WILL BE HELD. Teachers may
attend the meeting.

SUNDAY’S AT SIX - Join us in the CHAPEL for the evening worship
service. A time of discussion will follow the message.

series of Bible Studies will meet in the CONSISTORY ROOM.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Tymie Boeve and Dan Stuk have both returned to
their homes following surgery this past week. Les VanWyk was
expected to return to his home this weekend. Jan VanWyk remains
in Spectrum Downtown. Irene Polderman is scheduled to undergo
surgery at the Meijer Heart Center on Tuesday, November 28th. See
the Prayers & Praise Line today for all the Prayer Requests and
Praise Reports.

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

MISSION OPPORTUNITY – Grace will take part in another hurricane relief
work trip next spring! We will be going to McComb, Mississippi on
April 21-28, 2007! Reformed Church World Service is partnering
with Southwest Mississippi Recovery Network to send work groups
to help in construction repairs to damaged homes and cleanup.
Check your last Galaxy for more details, or, ask Shari. A sign up is in
the narthex. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity to serve.

WREATHS are available for pick up for all who placed an order. Checks
can be made out to Grace Youth Ministries. Thank you!

CAROLING – The Dood Sunday School Class is sponsoring a church wide
caroling night on December 20th! Dinner will be provided for the
carolers at 5:30 pm and caroling to begin at 6:30 pm returning to
church by 8 pm. Please sign up in the narthex if you plan to attend!

COOKIES FOR A.T. WALK-A-THON – Keith and Ann VanZoeren’s two
granddaughters have both been diagnosed with A.T. The older one is
almost ready for a wheelchair. If you wish to give this month, put a
donation in the cookie jar. Enjoy the cookies!

SENIOR CHOIR CHRISTMAS CANTATA – Would you like a reading part or a
non speaking part in the drama December 17 during the morning
service? Contact Lynda Ver Merris 878-3191.

ALASKA CHALLENGE – Please be in prayer as we proceed with plans for
fundraising for those who have expressed interest in becoming part
of the Alaska Challenge, July 21-31, 2007. Also pray for those who
are still not sure if God is calling them to participate. If you have any
questions, contact Shari Dood or Ray & Robin Zondervan.

CHRISTMAS IS FAST APPROACHING! Once again we are providing
opportunities for you to help those in need!
 Participate by buying gifts for the 2nd Annual Wyoming
Christmas Store. HELP! About 20 tags still remain on the tree!
These represent specific children so these tags need to be
picked up!!!! Will you consider taking another tag till they are
gone? Please bring in your gifts by December 3.

VOLUNTEERS are needed to work at the Christmas
store on December 9 (and set up on Wednesday,
December 6). A list of various opportunities and
times is on the table in the narthex.

 Help by purchasing gifts for the “Being the Hands” program
that we are setting up at DeVos Children’s Hospital! We are in
need of gifts for older youth and adults…we will use the left
over gifts from the Christmas store for the younger children.
Gifts of any amount are appreciated.

Provide a Holiday Basket for a family at Christmas. Sign up in the narthex if you are interested. Please respond by Dec. 10th.
