Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We pray for the Congregational meeting being held after the service today.  We thank God for the many blessings bestowed upon our church and congregation.
  • We pray for the Christmas Store being held at Grace on Saturday.  We thank God for the many churches that have provided gifts and who are volunteering at the store.  We pray for the families that will be shopping.  May they see the love of God through our actions this Christmas season.
  • Please pray for the Holy Spirit’s presence and guidance as Pastor Rick and Donna and all of us go through these days of transition.
  • We thank and praise God that Heather Dood’s official credo was approved and her exam date has been set for December 5 here at Grace.  Upon passing her exam she will officially be commissioned in January.
  • Please pray for Pastor George and Connections and for the youth and adults that attend each week.  We pray for them as they continue to grow and expand.
  • Please pray for the Search Team as they go about their work.  May the Holy Spirit guide their path.
  • We pray for Bill Ver Hulst today.  We are thankful that he was able to get a smaller portable oxygen unit which will make things much easier for him.  We pray for continued strength.
  • Remember Fred Hiemstra in your prayers following surgery.  We pray for quick and complete healing.
  • Please be in prayer for Cindy Schutter’s brother Steve.  (Cindy is mom to Don Schutter and Heather Dood)  Steve had to have a second cornea transplant and he is not doing very well.  He is also having a lot of problems with his rheumatoid arthritis and auto immune disease.
  • Please continue to remember our Grace members and members of their families who are in need of healing, comfort, and strength.  Jerry Hendrickson, Esther Hoag, Char Otto, Shirley De Bruin, Brent Kerkstra, son of Paul;  Janet, sister of Wes Dekker; Lana, granddaughter of Ken & Cindy Wylie; Amee, daughter of Dick & Ruth Locke; Matthew Marshall, brother of Rick Marshall; Mel & Virgil Vander Sloot, brothers of Roger Vander Sloot; Jonathan and Robbie Stouten, nephews  of Pastor Rick; Rev. Al Schreuder, and Tom Cook and his family.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar, Mrs. Betty Figueroa.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write

them down and include them in your prayers for our

congregation this week. Please keep the church

informed of your prayer needs and praises.
