A warm welcome to our visitors and members alike during this season
of Advent. As we prepare ourselves to celebrate again the coming of our
Lord, let us affirm the joy Christ brought to the world. May such joy live
within us as we worship the Lord. Please take a moment and sign your
name and address on the Fellowship Register so we can get to know you better.
TODAY AT GRACE
TODAY the DISCOVERY KIDZ will share in our service. During this
rotation they learned about Adam & Eve. They will share their songs
and verses with us. Pastor Rick will begin a new series of messages
“SONGS FOR ADVENT AND BEYOND”. See the insert in your bulletin
today for more information on this Advent series.
THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of November is designated for
CAMP GENEVA. This offering will be received this morning.
ELDERS INVITATION – If you have questions, concerns, joys, or
prayer needs that you would like to share, an Elder will be available
in the front of the sanctuary following the service this morning.
11:30 am – 12:10 pm THE SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in
the Consistory Room. You are welcome to join them!
11:30 AM S. A. C. (Sundays After Church) for all DISCOVERY KIDZ and
their families and those volunteers who have served in this rotation,
or will help in the next. Join us in the Fellowship Hall.
4:30 PM GRACE CHOIR REHEARSAL AT BEVERLY.
6:00 PM COMMUNITY ADVENT SERVICE at Beverly Reformed Church,
2141 Porter SW, Wyoming. Choirs from Beverly, Faith, St John
Vianney and Grace will each have a special musical selection. The
choirs will join together for the Hallelujah Chorus at the conclusion
of the service. John Hulett, representing ACTION Wyoming, will

Thanks to everyone who took a tag from the tree! Please bring the
gifts you have purchased to church by December 6.

Sunday, December 13, 10:00 AM OUR SENIOR CHOIR will present the
CHRISTMAS CANTATA “CAROLS AND CLASSICS” during our morning
Sunday, December 13th 5:30 pm S.O.S. (Service on Sunday) For the
month of December we will be serving a Christmas Dinner to our
Club 3:16 families. We need your help hosting a table! See the insert
today for details.
Wednesday, December 16, 6:30 PM ALL CHURCH CAROLING NIGHT!
Everyone is invited to join in on the fun! See Heather Dood if you
have any questions.
Thursday, December 17 BEING THE HANDS PROGRAM (Note the change
of dates!) Gifts can still be purchased for the Christmas store at
DeVos Children’s Hospital. We are in need of gifts for older youth
and adults. Gifts of any monetary amount are appreciated. Bring
these gifts to the office opposite the Chapel.

dress rehearsal and Jesus’ Birthday Party!
Sunday, December 20, 10:00 AM The DISCOVERY KIDZ will share their
Christmas Program “THREE WISEMEN AND A BABY” during the
morning worship service.
COPIES OF “THE PARABLE OF THE RIVER”, which Pastor Bruce Kuiper
referred to last Sunday, are on the narthex table.
EMPTY PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES are needed for the Discovery Kidz
Christmas program. Please bring them to the church kitchen.
THE GRACE BUILDING FUND DRIVE fund drive will continue. You can put
your gift envelope in the offering plate or designate it on your budget
envelope at any time!

We Pray and Trust God
Thank God for the ability to give – to give your time,
your money, your talent, and in this season of giving,
ask Him to show you new ways to give to others.
Church Plant Prayer Focus
Pray for God’s will to be done as we vote today.
Congregational Prayers and Praise
Please call the office if you would like to
share a Prayer Request or a Praise Report.
We pray for those who will serve as Elders and Deacons of our Church.
We think today of those in need. We pray for all those who are involved in the
Christmas store. We thank and praise God for the many gifts that those in our
congregation and other area churches have donated.
We thank God today for Pastor Rick and Donna. We pray for them as they serve
God here at Grace Church.
We pray for Heather Dood as she prepares the lessons and activities for our children.
Give her energy to tend to all the details. We thank God for Heather today.
We thank God for the children in our church and those in our community.
We pray for opportunities this Christmas season to touch a life.
We thank God for Thom Mc Guire, for the work he does in our
community. We are thankful for all he does for Grace Church.
We pray for those who are looking for work during this tough job market.
We pray for all those men & women who are serving in the military today.
We pray also for their families, especially during this holiday season when
they may especially feel their absence.
We pray for the health of our congregation. May they be protected from the
many sicknesses going around.
