IN APPRECIATION - Dear Grace, This Thanksgiving I want to thank you for

the support you've given this year to our mission of starting CenterPoint

Church, Gahanna.  You guys have been such amazing partners in this work.  We

are so grateful to have your prayers and generosity!  I am pleased to tell you

that we've gotten off to a great start.  We had our Grand Opening on Oct. 4th

with about 200 in attendance.  Since then we've been averaging about 160 each

week.  God has truly blessed our work so far and we pray that we might stay in

the center of his action.  Please continue to pray for our fledgling flock, that we

would continue to grow and build authentic community.  Please also continue to

support this work.  We've got a long way to go! I hope you all have a Happy

Thanksgiving.  We're praising God for you this year! ~Pastor Dave Jansen

Prayers & Praise Line

November 29, 2015

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We pray for the Congregational meeting being held after the service today.  We thank God for the many blessings bestowed upon our church and congregation.
  • We pray for the Christmas Store being held at Grace on Saturday.  We thank God for the many churches that have provided gifts and who are volunteering to work at the store.  We pray for the families that will be shopping.  May they see the love of God through our actions this Christmas season.
  • We thank God for the ministry of Connections.  We pray for Pastor George as he leads them each week.
  • Please continue to remember Karen Ver Hulst in your prayers.
  • Pastor Rick’s sister, Deb Stouten, continues at Mary Free Bed for therapy.  She is still very weak.  Please keep her and her family in your prayers.
  • Thank you for remembering Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers. Please pray that she will develop, through the Holy Spirit, a more positive attitude.
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer.
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey.  Lola was released from the hospital which we are so thankful for!!  They will continue to live in Ann Arbor as Lola still has many appointments and so they can keep a close eye on her.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar.
  • Neighborhood Church Ministries is encouraging the community of churches in Wyoming to lift one another up in prayer.  This week we pray for Rev. Paul Myers and Sunset Park Church of God.  Let’s join together in this effort to encourage one another and lift one another up in prayer.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praises.
