OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Sue Kurtz. Thank
you for sharing your time and talents with us this Lord’s day!

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of November is designated for the
FAMILY NETWORK OF WYOMING FOOD PANTRY. In addition to the
food pantry, Family Network offers many other services to the
Wyoming community. In your mailbox today is the latest “Network
News”, a publication of the Family Network, with new updates and
information about FNOW.

11:20 – 12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for all
ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Post High/High School Sunday School Class will meet at the
Crossing.
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
Managing Our Finances God’s Way – Discussion: Money Myths/Your
Money Questions. Meet in the Chapel.

4:30 PM GRACE CHOIR meet for practice.

6:00 PM – COMMUNITY ADVENT PRAISE SERVICE to be held here at
Grace! Choirs from Beverly, Faith, and St. John Vianney will join us.
The service will consist of scripture readings, carol singing, and
selections from each church choir. At the close of worship, the choirs
will be singing the Hallelujah Chorus together! Plan on joining us
for this special musical start to the Advent season. Coffee, punch and
cookies will be served following the service.

 PRAYERS & PRAISE

HEALTH CONCERNS – Bob Ver Merris continues to improve while at the
Spectrum Continuing Care Center on Kalamazoo. See the Prayers &
Praise Line for all prayer concerns & praise reports.

THE FOLLOWING PERSONS were elected to serve on the Consistory
beginning in January 2009:
ELDER: John Sawyer, Les VanWyk
DEACON: Rick Marshall, Ray Zondervan
The names of the elected are printed in order that any legitimate
objections may be presented to the Board of Elders for its judgment
prior to installation and ordination of these persons.

Rosa Parks Circle downtown! If you would rather, you can meet us
downtown at 1:30 pm. PARENTS – you are invited to join us too!

 2nd SUNDAY OF ADVENT

NEXT SUNDAY – Pastor Rick will continue the Advent Series “IN THE
WEARY AND THE WONDER” with the message “Wilderness Beginnings”
from Mark 1:1-8. 

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR GRACE – Today we are beginning a drive for the
Grace Building Fund. As you know, this building is now 44 years old
and in need of maintenance and improvement so we can continue to
share comfortable worship in this facility. Our goal is to raise
$120,000.00 towards these efforts. Envelopes are available in the
bulletin today for your gift. After today extra envelopes will be
available on the narthex table. We will have a special time for giving
of these gifts on December 21 & 28. Thank you for your continued
generosity and support!

THE ELIZABETH CIRCLE will meet for Christmas Luncheon at the Grand
Villa in Grandville on December 16 at 1:00 pm. All women are
welcome! Make your reservation with Gladys Kessel (878-1101) by
December 14.

WYOMING CHRISTMAS STORE – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6th
If you have not returned your gifts for the tags you took today, please
make sure they are here by Wednesday.
VOLUNTEERS – All volunteer positions for the store are filled except
for 2 persons in the nursery from 8:30 – 10:30 am. Also
cookie bakers would be great! Sign up in the narthex.

BEING THE HANDS PROGRAM – Wednesday, December 10 from 9-1
(Volunteers meet at church). Gifts can still be purchased for this
program at DeVos Children’s Hospital. We are in need of gifts for
older youth and adults. Gifts of any monetary amount are
appreciated. Bring these gifts to Shari’s office.

POINSETTIAS FOR SALE! Now is the time to order a Christmas
Poinsettias for a friend or loved one (or yourself)! Our GEMS are
selling 5-6 bloom flowers in your choice of Red, White, or Pink. The
deadline to order is TODAY! A sales sheet is available on the narthex
table. Cost $10.00 each. Orders will be available for pick up on
Sunday, December 7.

NEW NURSERY SCHEDULES will be put together soon! Many volunteers
are needed. Even if you can only help a couple times a year, please
sign up on the narthex table. If you have helped in the past, there is
no need to sign up again…we will automatically schedule you.

ATTENTION ALL CHURCH MEMBERS: we are going CHRISTMAS CAROLING
again this year and you're all invited! All who are willing and able to
sing around the neighborhood of the church please come, you're
voice is welcome! We will meet in the Crossing at 6:30 in
order to leave at 6:45 on Wed. Dec. 17. This year we have
decided to sing to the families of the Club 3:16 kids that live near the
church. EVERYONE is invited to come, bring a friend! If you have
any questions, see Darrell Delaney or Heather Dood.
