PRAYERS & PRAISE

IN APPRECIATION – THANK YOU to those who came out last

Saturday to help with our Habitat day. Due to the fact that so much

work is still needed from volunteers at the parsonage, we changed

our Habitat for Humanity project to Habitat for Grace and

Connections. It was a fun day of painting, pulling up carpet, and

more....and lets not forget the yummy food! Progress is being made

at the parsonage but we could still use some extra help painting and

soon we will begin deep cleaning! Please sign up in the narthex or

call Shari or Rick Postema (Rick is chairing this big project!) if you

can give even a few hours. Again thank you to those who have

given so many hours already. ~Shari Dood and Rick Postema

Sincere thanks to the Grace congregation for the cards and prayers,

to Pastor Rick and others who came to the funeral home and the

memorial service. Your kindness is very much appreciated.

Church Plant Prayer Focus

Connections is thankful for this special offering in November. As the daughter church of Grace we cherish this relationship. We appreciate your continued support as

the parent church both corporately and individually, through prayers and offerings. Your support enables to ministry to continue to reach out to the

neighborhood and feed the spirits and the bodies that live in our community. Your offerings to Connections, apart from your tithe to Grace, carry forward

your vision for a new church plant to reach the unchurched. Consider being a regular partner with a $20/week for 20 weeks contribution to Connections.

We also deeply appreciate your prayers for Connections. Please continue to pray for growing numbers and small groups. Please also

remember in prayer a Connection family that has just lost their apartment lease, is struggling to find a job and facing marriage and family

conflicts that have forced the family apart. Our prayer is that this would be quickly resolved and that we are able to provide Christ – like

friendship and comfort for this family during this tough time.
