TODAY AT GRACE
TODAY we celebrate the SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM as Logan Riley Grimm,
son of Doug and Amy Grimm, is baptized. The flowers on the piano
are in honor of his baptism.
CHILDREN & WORSHIP
Children ages 3 & 4 years meet in Room 1 in the Discovery
Kids hallway with Worship Leaders Gracia Class & Erika
Wigent. Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room
with Worship Leaders Karen Ver Hulst & Darrell Delaney.
You will be dismissed during the offering time.
THE BELONGING (New Members Class) will meet in Pastor Rick’s office
for their last session.
11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes
available for all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is
available for those children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
Spiritual Warfare in the Old Testament – Brad Class will lead this
group in the Chapel.
You Were Shaped For Serving God – Meet at the Crossing.
SUNDAY’S AT SIX - Join us in the CHAPEL for the evening worship
service. A time of discussion will follow the message.
PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS –Curt Boes was back in the hospital this week,
but was expected to return to his home by this weekend. Irene
Polderman returned to her home following surgery on Wednesday.
Gordon Ver Merris is hospitalized in serious condition following
surgery this past week. Donna Oppenhuizen has a cracked kneecap
following a fall at the Crossing during Club 3:16. Her knee will have
to be immobilized for 6 weeks, however, it looks like she will be able
to avoid surgery. See the Prayers & Praise Line today for all the
Prayer Requests and Praise Reports.

from the series Where Sin and Sacred Meet. Discussion will follow the
6:00 – 8:00 PM YOUTH - GRACE GIFTED! We at Grace want to allow our
young people to display their gifts. If you like to sing, dance, play an
instrument, write poetry or have other talents, we invite you to
Grace Gifted! This is an opportunity to share your gifts and for us
to celebrate each other. This exciting event is on November 12 from
6-8 pm at the Crossing. There will be fun and giveaways. If you have

activities will be held for the children during this time. Sunday
School teachers can plan on attending the Congregational meeting.
Tuesday, December 5th 6:30 PM WOMENS CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS.
This is always a special night out. You will have the opportunity to
tour the many festively decorated tables and enjoy delicious desserts.
Would you like to be a hostess? If so, indicate that when you sign up
in the narthex! Everyone is welcome…invite your family and friends!
NEEDED FOR THE CHILDRENS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS: One helper for
November 12! Also please save your cardboard PAPER TOWEL
AND TOILET PAPER ROLLS. They need about 20 on November
19th. Also needed on November 19 are 3 male fishermen and
someone to play Jesus in a short unrehearsed skit. Sign up
on the sheet in the narthex if you can help. Questions?? See Jennifer
ALASKA CHALLENGE – Please be in prayer as we proceed with plans for
fundraising for those who have expressed interest in becoming part
of the Alaska Challenge, July 21-31, 2007. Also pray for those who
are still not sure if God is calling them to participate. If you have any
questions, contact Shari Dood or Ray & Robin Zondervan.
D & W FUND RAISING DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! D & W will donate 5% of
our group’s total sales back to our Youth Groups. All you need is our
code 95688. Local participating D & W’s are the Grandville, Breton
Village, Caledonia, Rockford & Cascade stores. The date for this
promotion is NOVEMBER 12-18. Just jot down our code and shop!
THE HOLIDAYS ARE FAST APPROACHING! Once again we are providing
opportunities for you to help those in need!
Ø Participate by buying gifts for the 2nd Annual Wyoming Christmas Store. This store is set up for low income families of the neighborhood. Parents are able to purchase gifts for their children at ¼ the cost. Our Christmas tree is set up and there are 125 tags on it that need to be filled. Check your mailbox for all the details and pick up a couple tags from the tree!
Ø Help by purchasing gifts for the “Being the Hands” program that we are setting up at DeVos Children’s Hospital! We are in need of gifts for older youth and adults…we will use the left over gifts from the Christmas store for the younger children. Gifts of any amount are appreciated. Again, the details are in your mailbox.
Ø Provide a Holiday Basket for a family at Thanksgiving or Christmas. Sign up in the narthex if you are interested. Please respond by early November for a Thanksgiving basket and early December for a Christmas basket.
TODAY WE REJOICE with Pastor Dave Jansen and CenterPoint Church
because their classis has agreed to purchase land for their church to
build on in the future. However, before Classis can finalize this
purchase of land, CenterPoint has the responsibility of getting all the
required site plans completed. Please keep Pastor Dave in your
prayers as these details are worked out.
WREATH SALES – Our youth group will once again be selling Christmas
Wreaths and Evergreen Crosses. Order forms are available on the
narthex table. Wreaths will be delivered Sunday, November 26th.
