MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of November is designated for
MEL TROTTER MINISTRIES.  This offering will be received on
 November 27th.

NEW MEMBERS CLASS – Some of you have expressed the desire to
become a part of a New Member Class soon.  We are planning on
having a class (after the holidays), starting the second week of
January.  In the past we have held the class during the Sunday School
hour for 6 weeks.  We could still do this but we are also looking into
having the class on Wednesday evenings.  Please sign up on the sheet
in the narthex if you are interested in becoming part of this class.
You will be contacted as to what is a good time for you.

NO FORMAL ADULT WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASSES or classes for young
children will be held through the end of the year.  Many small groups
will continue to meet.  If your purpose group is not continuing, or if
you would like to join a small group at this time, call the office and
we will put you in touch with a group!  Please note:  GEMS and
MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP will continue to meet on their
 regularly scheduled Wednesday evenings.

CADETS – Just like the GEMS Group, there is an organization called the
CALVINIST CADETS for Elementary and Middle School aged boys.  We
are in the process of meeting with the leaders of this organization
about getting started here at Grace.  We hope to have leaders and a
program in place in the new year.  Until this time the Victors Group
 will not meet.

WREATH SALES – Our Youth Group will once again be selling Christmas
Wreaths and Evergreen Crosses.  Order forms are available on the
narthex table.  Wreaths will be delivered Sunday, November 27th.

COOKIES will be provided for the month of November following the
morning worship service.  Lynda Ver Merris has volunteered to bake
cookies to benefit the A.T. PROJECT for the Walk-a-Thon at Disney in
January of 2006.  A.T. is a rare, fatal genetic disease that attacks
children.  Kate and Olivia Veldink, granddaughters of Keith and Ann
Van Zoeren, have been diagnosed with this disease.  A Cookie Jar will
be located on the narthex table for your donations.
LET’S FILL THAT COOKIE JAR!

D & W SCHOOL DAYS – Our Youth Group has signed up with D & W
School Days.  You can shop anytime November 7-9  at the
Burlingame, Grandville, or Jenison D & W.  5% of the sales generated
by our congregation or friends & family will be donated to our youth
group.  See the insert today for a coupon to use when shopping.
Extra copies are available on the narthex table to give your friends
and family!  Thank you for your continued Support!

IT’S CHRISTMAS TIME IN THE LIBRARY!  Please check your mailbox for a
letter explaining the new Wyoming Christmas Store!  Take a tag off
the Christmas tree and buy something for the specific child on the
tag.  The best choice is today!  Every tag on the tree must be taken
 this year!  Questions?  Call Shari.

UCOM is in need of persons to supply Thanksgiving baskets to families in
need.  Would you or you small group like to do this?  Sign up today or
next week, November 13!!  Shari will contact you with a family name.

NEEDED:  UCOM is also requesting that we collect plastic and paper bags
and egg cartons.  They receive lots of fresh eggs in quantity, so there
is a need to break them down for individuals and families.  All
donations can be brought to the kitchen.  Thank You.

BLOOD DRIVE – Faith Reformed Church will hold a Blood Drive
Thursday, November 10 from 1:30 – 7:00 pm at their church.  You
