THIS MORNING we welcome Thom & Kris Mc Guire (2579 – 108th St.,
Caledonia, MI 49316, Home Phone: 891-8935) into the
membership of Grace Church by Reaffirmation of Faith. Thom is
also the Club 3:16 Coordinator. We welcome you into the life and
ministry of Grace!

OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Deborah
Alexander. Deborah is a member of the Lighthouse Full Life Center.
Thank you for being with us this Lord’s day!

9:50 am – 11:15 am DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3 years –
5th Grade meet downstairs. You will have your very own service.

11:30 am – 12:10 pm THE SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in
the Consistory Room. You are welcome to join them!

SERVICE ON SUNDAY - 6:00 PM for our first S.O.S. (Service on Sunday)
Thom McGuire will share a presentation on “HOMELESSNESS”. This
is part of Thom’s testimony and story. Come and hear and pray for
those who are homeless.


HEALTH CONCERNS – Jayme Dood is home after undergoing an
emergency appendectomy earlier in the week. See the Prayers &
Praise Line for all other prayer requests and praise reports.

Consistory room. Study week 1 – Witnessing: God’s Plan.

Saturday, October 24 - BIRCH RUN/FRANKENMUTH Shopping Trip! We
will leave at 8:00 am SHARP. We will shop at the Birch Run Outlet
Mall, Bronners in Frankenmuth, and Downtown Frankenmuth.
Dinner is at Zehnders at 6:00 pm. We will return at approximately
11:00 pm. Cost is $10.00 per person which covers gas and coffee and
donuts enroute! Sign up in the narthex – Deadline for reservations is

for Discovery Kidz! We now have enough!

NEEDED - old board games boards for Discovery Kidz game room matter what shape they are in we will take them...they will
not be returned. You can leave them in the office. Thanks!

GEMS are selling ENJOY THE CITY coupon books. The cost is $20.00 each
and make very nice Christmas, birthday gifts etc. Please see Sandy
Gort or Pat TerBeek for your copy. Order blank and sample book on
table in narthex.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD – THE GEMS will fill shoe boxes once
again this year to send to children in need. If you have any shoeboxes
available, please bring them to the church kitchen. Also they are
collecting small gifts to enclose in the boxes. Suggested items are:
school supplies, coloring and picture books, small cars, balls, dolls,
stuffed animals, small toys, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, washcloth,
hard candy and lollipops, t-shirts, socks, hair clips. Some things not
to include are liquids, lotions, war-related items such as toy guns,
breakable items, aerosol cans. You can label your gifts for Operation
Christmas Child and bring them to the kitchen.

CHICAGO BUS TRIP – Would you be interested in a bus trip to downtown
Chicago on December 4? Cost would be $35.00. Leave from Zion
Ref. Church at 7 am sharp and return approximately 11:30 pm. See
Sue Stuk or call the office 538-3100 if you would be interested.

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of October is designated for
ACCESS (All County Churches Emergency Support Services). This
offering will be received on October 25.

COMPUTER FUNDAMENTALS CLASS – Family Network of Wyoming along
with Calvin Christian School Association invites 30 people to
participate in a Computer Fundamentals Class held at Calvin
Christian Elementary School, 601 – 36th Street from 7:00 – 8:30 pm
on Thursday evenings, October 29, November 5, 12, and 19. This
class is intended for persons with little or no computer experience
but have a real desire to learn more. The sessions will include Word
Processing, Internet, Email, Digital Pictures, and other topics of
interest to participants. Registration free for the four classes is only
$20 per person total. There is room for 30 persons in this class. For
more information and to register contact Glen Walstra at 808-9113.
Deadline for registration is October 19.

 We are thankful that Christy Kleymeer was able to go home following isolation. Pray that she can quickly regain her strength.
