9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ MEET. All children ages 3

years – 5th Grade can be a part of the Grace Discovery Kidz! The past

4 weeks our Discovery Kidz have been looking first hand at how God

kept his promise to Joshua as we studied the Fall of Jericho. The kids

built walls in Games and watched them come tumbling down, made

walls out of food items and marched around the tables till the wall

came down in Cooking. We created covers for our trumpets in Art,

looked into Rahab's life and how she committed her life to God in a

science experiment and we round it all out buy watching a Veggie

Tale "Josh and the Big Wall". A special thank you to our

volunteers this past rotation: Louise Grimm, Kerri Baker, John

Sawyer, Jacob Wohlgemuth, Robin Zondervan, Sandy Workman, Sue

Stuk, and Keri Desmarais. ~Heather Dood

Wierenga, and baptized son Marcus, was transferred to the Ann

Arbor 1st Church of the Nazarene.

PLEASE BE IN PRAYER – From October 17 to November 2

Juel and I will be a part of a team building the relationship with the

protestant folks that are clearly the persecuted minority in a country

that bases it's religious faith almost exclusively with the Roman

Catholic church. Our work at Ecumene in Velletri, Italy strengthens

our commitment to servant hood through volunteering our hands

and hearts to prepare their property to do ministry within the Italian

protestant community. Please pray that through our experience God

will deepen our compassion for those with less acceptance of their

faith and sharpen our skills needed to respond to inequities that

exist in our own community and churches.

 ~Pastor George Grevenstuk

THANK YOU to everyone who helped and contributed with food and

baked goods to the County Food Drive last weekend! A special thank

you to Tymie who once again took charge of the snacks and meal for

the volunteers. About 7.5 Ton of food was collected in Wyoming

(including the stores) and the total collected county wide was 52 Ton.

Volunteers and amounts of food collected were down from other

years but it still was a great success! Since the volunteers from the

other churches was less, we really appreciated the help given by the

Grace Family….you came through once again and I really appreciate

that! It’s great to be part of such a compassionate church family!

 ~ Shari
