Prayers & Praise Line

October 18, 2015

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We are so thankful for the generosity of this community and the way they donate and care for each other.  We are thankful for the work of ACCESS and for all those who volunteered or donated food for the food drive.
  • We thank God today for volunteers who show God’s love in practical ways each week.
  • We are thankful for the many men and women who served in the military.  We thank Al Johnson and all our Grace Veterans for their service.  We thank God for always being near in times of need and fear.
  • Please remember Shari Dood in your prayers and she recovers.
  • We pray for all those of our congregation who are recovering after surgeries. We pray for Phyllis Vander Sloot, Sandra Sorenson, John Sawyer.
  • Continue to keep Karen Ver Hulst in your prayers as she works to regain her strength and energy.
  • Thank you for remembering Wes Dekker’s sister, Janet, in your prayers. Please pray that they will be able to restrain any cancer left in her system.
  • Please remember Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer.  Also Esther’s sister, Wanda, had a mild stroke and is in need of our prayers.
  • Please continue to be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey.  Lola’s is showing miraculous improvement which we thank and praise God for!  She was out of ICU last week already and continuing to show progress. It will take an average of one year before the new bone marrow is completely engrafted.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs. Tena DeVink, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs. Ruth Ver Merris, Mr. Jim Friar.
  • Neighborhood Church Ministries is encouraging the community of churches in Wyoming to lift one another up in prayer.  This week we pray for South Wyoming United Methodist Church. Let’s join together in this effort to encourage one another and lift one another up in prayer.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
