Children ages 3 & 4 meet in Fellowship Hall with
Worship Leader Gracia Class and Greeter Danielle Vining.
Children K – 2nd Grade meet in the choir room with
Worship Leader Erika Wigent & Greeter Amy Grimm.

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
“Jesus in the Movies” – The life of Jesus in three major Hollywood
Films. Brad Class will lead this group in the Chapel.
“Surrendering: Your Life for God’s Pleasure” – This Contiguous
Connections Bible Study Group will meet this week for fellowship at
the Crossing. Next week we plan to have dinner after Sunday School!

SUNDAY’S AT SIX - Join us in the CHAPEL for the evening worship
service. A time of discussion will follow the message.

moved to the area after Pastoring in Winnebago, Nebraska
for 12 years. He will lead a 6 week study.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27, 2007
7:00 AM FELLOWSHIP TEAM SHOPPING TRIP to BIRCH
RUN/FRANKENMUTH. We will take the church vans. Cost
is $5.00 which will cover doughnuts on the way and gas.
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY to sign up!
8:00 AM INDEED HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP will participate in
the Calvin Christian High School Scrap Metal Drive. Wear
old clothes! Lunch will be provided afterwards.

 NEXT SUNDAY – OCTOBER 28, 2007

NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Vern Hettinga will lead our services and share the
message. OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of October is
designated for ACCESS (All County Churches Emergency Support
System). This offering will be received next Sunday.

HEALTH CONCERNS – Ruth Postema continues to be a patient at
Blodgett Hospital. You can get updates and send a message to Ruth

IN APPRECIATION – Congratulations and thank you for participating in
the 11th ACCESS County Wide Food Drive. Over 1,700 volunteers
collected over 98 tons of food on Saturday, October 13. Your
generous support will help Kent County Pantries continue to serve

 MISCELLANEOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

PASTOR RICK will be on study leave this upcoming week. If a need
should arise, please contact the church office.

COMMUNITY DAYS at Younkers, Saturday, November 10 beginning at
6:00 am! Our youth are selling coupon books for $5.00. These
booklets contain a $10.00 coupon off an item selling for $10.00 or
more and 8 coupons worth 20% off sale or regular priced items. The
$5.00 cost of these coupon books goes entirely to our youth
group. This is a great opportunity to raise funds for our fall
activities! See Darrell or one of our youth. Thank you!!

HOLIDAY BASKETS – Beginning October 1st through November 30,
ACCESS expects over 7,000 households to register for a Holiday
Basket to help stretch the family budget. Many families are
struggling with the loss of jobs, high gas prices and can’t make ends
meet. You can help! Please contact ACCESS soon if you can provide
a Thanksgiving or Christmas basket - or both. For more information

IT’S A BOY! All women of Grace are invited to Kia Delaney’s baby shower
on November 3 at 3:00 pm at the Crossing. Please RSVP
by October 28th to 452-1136. Kia is registered at Burlington Coat
Factory Baby Depot, Walmart, and Target.

HANGERS NEEDED for kids coats at Club 3:16 this winter. Wooden
hangers are preferred. A box will be in the narthex for your
donations. Thanks!

FELLOWSHIP DINNERS – Our next Wednesday dinner nights will be
November 14 and December 12. Anyone willing to help with
Wednesday dinners contact Tymie Boeve at 531-5700 or 538-3100.

D & W SHOPPING DAYS
D & W will donate 3% of our purchases back to our youth programs
when we shop D & W October 21-27. It’s easy-all you have to
do is provide our code 95688 there are no sign ups or coupons
required! The next shopping days are November 18 – 24.

CLUB 3:16 COORDINATOR: At the present time we are looking for a
part-time person to lead the Club 3:16 activities. Here is the posting
we are sending out:
Club 3:16 is an after-school ministry of Grace Reformed Church for
grades 3-12. It meets weekly, every Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday and averages weekly attendance of more than 100
students. Needed is an individual with a passion and a heart to
reach out to and love urban children. Work details include directing
daily activities of Club 3:16, organizing weekly student information
and attendance, securing adequate volunteers, communicating with
the partner schools and administration, and investing in the lives of
“at-risk” kids. Non-negotiable work hours are Tuesday through
Thursday from 2:00 – 6:00 pm; the other 8 hours are flexible
around the individual’s schedule. If interested, resumes can be sent
to Grace Reformed Church or emailed to rick@gracewyoming.org.

If you know someone who may be interested in this position, please
submit their name to the church office. Meanwhile, we are grateful
for Kia Delaney who has agreed to help us out on an interim basis for
four more weeks. Please keep this process in your prayers.

GRACE GEMS are gathering items for Operation Shoebox -- personal
hygiene products, small toys, calculators, pens/pencils, hard candy;
shoeboxes, and Christmas wrapping paper. The GEMS will be
stuffing and wrapping boxes Wednesday, November 7th.
