OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of October is designated for
ACCESS (All County Churches Emergency Support System). This
offering will be received this morning.
11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for
all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.
“Creeds and Confessions” – Brad Class will lead this group in the
Chapel. This week we will look at The Apostles’ Creed.
“Surrendering: Your Life for God’s Pleasure” – This Contiguous
Connections Bible Study Group will meet at the Crossing.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS – No Sunday School class will be held today.

PRAYERS & PRAISE
HEALTH CONCERNS – Karen Ver Hulst underwent surgery last Sunday
after falling and breaking her hip. She was able to return to her
home Thursday. See the Prayers & Praise Line for all the other
praise reports and prayer concerns.
OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to Dick Postema, Rick &
Karen, Eric, Jennifer, Stephanie & Isaac Postema, and the other
family members and dear friends of Ruth Postema who passed away
on Saturday, October 20 at the age of 72. Services were held at Grace
on Wednesday with Pastor Rick officiating. May our God wrap His
arms of love around you, comfort you, and give you peace.
IN APPRECIATION – Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! To everyone
who helped in any way at the County Wide Food Drive! Some of
you brought food to give, some of you helped prepare and serve food
for volunteers, some of you helped set up and run the sorting of the
incoming food, some of you picked up the food from neighborhood
homes! Wyoming collected over 11 ton of food – This was possible
only because all of you helped! And…didn’t we all have fun working
together with all the other churches!! Thank you again! ~Shari

GRACE GEMS are gathering items for Operation Shoebox -- personal
hygiene products, small toys, calculators, pens/pencils, hard candy;
shoeboxes, and Christmas wrapping paper. The GEMS will be
stuffing and wrapping boxes Wednesday, November 7th.
COMMUNITY DAYS at Younkers, Saturday, November 10 beginning at
6:00 am! Our youth are selling coupon books for $5.00. These
booklets contain a $10.00 coupon off an item selling for $10.00 or
more and 8 coupons worth 20% off sale or regular priced items. The
$5.00 cost of these coupon books goes entirely to our youth
group. This is a great opportunity to raise funds for our fall
activities! See Darrell or one of our youth. Thank you!!
HOLIDAY BASKETS – Beginning October 1st through November 30,
ACCESS expects over 7,000 households to register for a Holiday
Basket to help stretch the family budget. Many families are
struggling with the loss of jobs, high gas prices and can’t make ends
meet. You can help! Please contact ACCESS soon if you can provide
a Thanksgiving or Christmas basket – or both. For more information

HANGERS NEEDED for kids coats at Club 3:16 this winter. Wooden
hangers are preferred. A box will be in the narthex for your
FELLOWSHIP DINNERS – Our next Wednesday dinner nights will be
November 14 and December 12. Anyone willing to help with

THE NEXT GALAXY will soon be distributed. If you have an article you
wish to contribute, please put it in the bin attached to the file cabinet
in the main office, or contact Sandy Gort or Pat Ter Beek by Nov. 2.
A SERIES OF HYMNSINGS will be held at Eighth Reformed Church, 841
Burton in Wyoming at 3:00 in the afternoon on the following
Sundays: TODAY, November 25, and December 9. All are welcome.
AFRICAN CULTURAL NIGHT – Featuring RCA Missionaries Ruth & Justin
Majawa. Justin is the founder of Save the Orphans Ministries in
Africa. This event will be held Friday, November 2 from 6:30 –
11:00 pm at Beverly Reformed Church, Connection Building,
2141 Porter, Wyoming. Explore African culture thru games, food,
movies, art, clothing, coffee & tea. Articles also available for sale. All
proceeds to benefit HIV/AIDS Orphans medical care, schooling, and
