TODAY AT GRACE
TODAY WE WELCOME Dr. Marvin Vander Vliet who will lead our services
and share the message. Dr. Vander Vliet is the Youth Guidance
Director for Youth for Christ; Grand Rapids. He is also very
involved in the Cadet program and the SAILS program out of the
Holland/Douglas area. We are so thankful to have you with us and
pray for God’s blessing on your ministry.
OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Christina
Kleymeer of our congregation. Thank you Christy, for sharing your
musical talents with us today. Thanks also to our Praise Team for
their special number!
CHILDREN & WORSHIP

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of October is designated for THE

THE BELONGING (New Members Class) will meet in Pastor Rick’s office

11:20 AM–12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes
available for all ages three years old and upward. A nursery is
available for those children under the age of three.

5:00 PM HARVEST BLAST TUESDAY! Looking for an alternative to
Halloween with a Christian atmosphere? We are inviting
our kids to go to this event that keeps our kids off of the
unpredictable streets. This is an event for kids Preschool – 6th
grade. We will meet here and head over to Grand Rapids First
in our church vans. Helpers and chaperones are welcome
(needed even) to help keep our kids together. Dinner will be

topic in the church. Of course believers seek to know and
apply their spiritual gift. What about the Fruit of the Spirit?
Join Pastor Vern Hettinga in a study of the Spirit Fruit as
found in Galatians 5:22-23. This 6 week series of Bible
Studies will meet in the Choir Room.

Tuesday, December 5th WOMENS CANDLELIGHT CHRISTMAS. Save the
date. Sandy Bennett will be our guest speaker.
GRACE GIFTED! We at Grace want to allow our young people to display
their gifts. If you like to sing, dance, play an instrument, write poetry
or have other talents, we invite you to Grace Gifted! This is an
opportunity to share your gifts and for us to celebrate each other.
This exciting event is on November 12 from 6-8 pm at the Crossing.

ALASKA CHALLENGE – More persons are welcome to join the group going
to Alaska July 21-31, 2007 for the Spiritual & Leadership
Development trip. Everyone who is even remotely considering

THE GEMS service project this year is OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD.
Boxes will be filled on Wednesday. If you have any items to donate

Participate by buying gifts for the 2nd Annual Wyoming Christmas Store. We will
be working with the Family Network of Wyoming and other area churches to have
a store which will be located here at Grace for those who are not able to buy gifts
