TODAY AT GRACE
THIS MORNING we thank our Youth and our Youth Director, Darrell
Delaney, for their part in our worship today.
CHILDREN & WORSHIP will not meet today.
OUR SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of October is designated for
ACCESS (All County churches Emergency Support System). This
offering will be received next Sunday.
11:20 – 12:20 PM SUNDAY SCHOOL - There are classes available for all
ages three years old and upward. A nursery is available for those
children under the age of three.
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES
Post High and High School Sunday School Class will not meet today.
Sunday School Guide Class will meet in the Consistory Room. Join
them for lively discussions relating to our Christian walk.

HEALTH CONCERNS – Willie Hiemstra was expected to undergo surgery
at the U of M Hospital to remove a growth that is pressing on her
optical nerve. Wilma Osterink’s surgery went very well with
results far better than expected! Please keep Esther Hoag in your
prayers as she currently has many health concerns. See the Prayers
& Praise Line for all prayer concerns & praise reports.
JOYFUL ANTICIPATION! Rick and Laura Marshall report that they have
moved up to the number one place on the list of families waiting for
infant boys! From Rick & Laura: This is wonderful news…the news
will be even better the day we get our call. The next infant boy that
is available and passes his medical will be referred to us! Praise
God! Please pray for us…for patience and understanding…and for

I would like to thank my Grace friends who called me to see how I
was doing, for meals, and also I want to thank those who prayed for
me when I had surgery. I also want to thank Pastor Rick for his

following the morning service. Election of Elder & Deacons will be
held, the proposed budget will be presented and other church
business will be discussed.
NEEDED: The Facilities Committee is looking for someone interested in
a SNOW SHOVELING JOB here at church this winter. You would be
responsible for keeping the walkways clear on Sunday’s and other
meeting days during the winter season. See or call Neal Klein if
COOKBOOKS – TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO ORDER YOUR BOOKS!
Proceeds to go towards enhancements for our church kitchen. Cost
is $6.50 each. These cookbooks make great gifts! Order sheets are
available on the narthex table.
THE NEXT GALAXY will soon be published. If you have an article to share,
something special you want to mention about your group or other
activity, please have them submitted by Wednesday, October 29. You
can place your articles in the bin attached to the file cabinet in the
HOLIDAY FOOD BASKETS: If you would like to provide a “needy” family
with food for Thanksgiving or Christmas please sign up in the
narthex and Shari will connect you with a family name from UCOM
(ACCESS). Please respond by Nov. 1 so that we can get you a name.
