TODAY we welcome Heather Dood to our pulpit. Her Commissioned

 Pastor studies are complete and now she is waiting for Classis exams. 

 Coming next will be her Commissioning Service.  Please keep

 Heather in your prayers as she prepares for these exams and also

 manages a very busy Children’s ministry work load! 


9:50 – 11:15 AM DISCOVERY KIDZ for kids ages 3 years – 5th

 grade meets downstairs by the youth desk. 


THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of October is designated

 for ACCESS.  This offering will be received today.



 Consistory Room after the morning service. They cover various

 matters using the Sunday School Guide.  You are welcome to join in!


PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


6:45 – 8:00 PM Y-LIFE  Mystery Night Party!  We will have lots of

 fun snacks.  Remember to dress your part!


SUNDAYS AT SIX - For our evening service we will be meeting back

 at Faith Reformed Church.  Pastor Bruce Osbeck will share the





HEALTH CONCERNS:  Betty Figueroa was hospitalized last week.

 They have found a tumor on her esophagus.  Please pray for her as

 they seek the best options in the coming days.  For all other praise

 reports and prayer concerns, see the prayers and praise line in your

 bulletin today.


IN APPRECIATION – We want to thank you so much for helping us

 with the purchase of a van for Connections.  We have been joyfully

 surprised at the response.  We are just short of having it paid for.

 ADULT CLASS Update…sorry the new plan is to begin after the

 first of the year.




NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will be with us and share the message

 “From Ashes to Glory”.  We will remember the persecuted church on

 the International Day of Prayer for the persecuted Christians around

 the world. The Discovery Kidz will take part and share what they have

 been up to in their last rotation.


11:30 – 2:30 PM THE BUILDING TASK FORCE will meet.



6:30 PM Y LIFE WILL MEET at the Crossing.


SUNDAYS AT SIX - For our evening service we will be meeting

Monday, November 6, 7:00 pm SEARCH COMMITTEE MEETING.


Thursday, November 16  WOMEN’S MINISTRY will be heading to see 

 “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at Cornerstone. 

 Tickets are $15.00 per person.  Today is the last day to RSVP to 

 Heather.  The show starts at 7:00 pm.  If you would like to carpool

 and ride in the van, meet at Grace at 6:15 pm.

 SERVICE here at Grace. 


Sunday, November 26 – A CONGREGATIONAL MEETING will be

 held following the morning worship service.  A slate with Elder &

 Deacon Nominees will be presented.  The budget for 2018 will be

 presented and other church business will be discussed.




OUR GEMS are having a fundraiser!  They are selling awesome kitchen

 pans with lids that can be personalized!  Also miscellaneous items

 such as cutting boards, mugs, and other gift items.  These would

 make great Christmas presents!  A brochure is on the narthex table as

 well as order forms.  You can also look online at  Once on the website select our church

 to order from.  Checks can be made payable to Grace Reformed

 Church.  This sale will run through November 1.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for his love.  We thank God for friends and family that mean so much to us.
  • We are thankful today to God for blessing us with Pastor Rick for all these years at Grace.  We are thankful to Pastor Rick for being there for us through all of life’s circumstances.
  • We praise God today for good weather, a great turnout and many blessings as we joined with the neighborhood for our annual Trunk or Treat.  We are thankful to those who helped in many ways, seen and unseen.  We pray that God will work through us as we continue to minister to the neighborhood.
  • We pray as we work through the process of electing Elders and Deacons to serve on the Consistory.
  • Please pray for the Holy Spirit’s presence and guidance as Pastor Rick and Donna and all of us go through these days of transition. 
  • We pray for Heather as she prepares for her final exams and becomes a Commissioned Pastor.  We are thankful for her presence here at our pulpit this morning. 
  • Please pray for Pastor George and Connections and for the youth and adults that attend each week.  We pray for them as they continue to grow and expand.
  • Please pray for the Search Team as they begin their work.  May the Holy Spirit guide their paths. 
  • We thank God today for new life.  Anna Borkowski became a grandmother at the birth of Ella Grace Michelle Borkowski, daughter of Wesley and Sara.
  • We pray today for Betty Figueroa.  We pray as they seek the best treatment for her.
  • Please pray for Abbey Licari, Reece Wigent, Linda Kraft, and Amie Pierce as they recover from recent surgery.
