September 15, 2013

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank God today for a new season of activities here at Grace. We ask for prayers for God’s leading.
  • We thank and praise God for the many persons in our congregation who faithfully volunteer to lead classes, care for our children, help with outreach projects, cook and serve dinners, and the many other ways that they involve themselves in the life of the church.
  • We pray for God’s leading as we begin the process of Electing persons to serve on our Consistory.
  • We pray for the plans that are being made to host an Alpha Class here at Grace. We pray for Rowin & Rachel Mulder as they lead this process. May God work in the hearts of those who may come and those who will be led to help with this undertaking.
  • We thank God for the beauty of His creation, in the changing of the seasons.
  • Please keep Tymie Boeve in your prayers. Pray for patience, and swift healing after she broke her arm this week.
  • Remember Mac Mc Alary in your prayers as well as Mary and the family.
  • Pray for Rose Borkowski as the Doctors look for the source of her stomach pains. Also keep Anna Borkowski’s cousin, who is only 1 month old and is having some intestinal issues, in your prayers.
  • Please continue to keep Pastor Rick and Donna’s mother, Rita Oppenhuizen, and brother in law, Art Radlicki, in your prayers.
  • Please pray for Shawn Keener who is battling cancer.
  • Continue to be in prayer for Lola De Young and her parents, Matt & Lindsey.
  • Continue to keep Amie Pierce in your prayers as she is stationed at Fort Riley in Kansas.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs. Jane Duthler, Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports!
