THIS MORNING Pastor Rick will begin a new series of messages entitled
“In His Footsteps”. See the insert in your bulletin with details.

Today we celebrate THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM as Kaleab Thomas
Marshall, son of Rick & Laura Marshall, is baptized. The flowers on
the piano are in honor of his baptism. YOU ARE INVITED to the
Crossing following the morning service to see more of the Marshall’s
experiences traveling to Ethiopia to get their son.

WE WELCOME Keith & Mari Beavon to our service this morning. The
Beavons have worked for many years for Wycliffe International
translating the scriptures. Over the more than 70 years of history,
Wycliffe personnel have been involved in the translation of 740
New Testaments and Bibles representing over 82 million people!

10:50 am – 11:15 am DISCOVERY KIDZ begin their classes today! All
children ages 3 years – 5th Grade meet downstairs. You will have
your very own worship service.

11:30 am – 12:10 pm THE SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in
the Consistory Room. You are welcome to join them!


3:15 – 5:30 PM CLUB 3:16 BEGINS FOR GRADES 5 & 6.

3:45 – 6:00 PM CLUB 3:16 BEGINS FOR GRADES 3 & 4.

6:00 PM FELLOWSHIP DINNER – Lasagna, salad, bread sticks, dessert!
A nursery will be provided for children under
preschool age on Wednesdays.
6:30 – 7:30 PM SENIOR CHOIR meets for practice.

7:00 – 8:00 PM
S.O.N.G. (Soldiers of the Next Generation) for Children Ages 3
through 5th Grade. Meet in the Fellowship Hall.

ADULT CLASS will meet in the Consistory Room.
This class will study the SERMON ON THE MOUNT. What does it
mean to seek first the kingdom in our relationships, values,
ambitions, finances and commitment to God? Jesus’ answer
to these questions amazed those who first heard the Sermon
on the Mount. In this study you will be amazed and
challenged by the greatest sermon ever preached. Ron Engels
will lead this class.

2:45 – 5:00 PM CLUB 3:16 BEGINS FOR GRADES 7 & 8.


NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will continue the series of messages entitled
“In His Footsteps” with the message “Followers of God Desire: The
Wisdom of Solomon”. We will celebrate baptism with the Stadt

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of September is designated for
LOVE, INC. Love, Inc provides many of the snacks that are served at
Club 3:16! This offering will be received next Sunday.

at the Crossing.


THE “BELONGING” NEW MEMBERS CLASS is being offered this fall. If you
are interested please call Shari (538-3100) or sign up in the narthex.
The beginning date and time is still negotiable.

THE GRACE BUILDING FUND DRIVE fund drive will continue. You can put
your gift envelope in the offering plate or designate it on your budget
envelope at any time!

THE COUNTY WIDE FOOD DRIVE is coming October 10. Grace will again
be the Collection Site for Wyoming. Sign up sheets are on the
narthex table if you would be willing to help.

FOOD DRIVE HERE AT GRACE! Because of the huge need in Wyoming for
food this year, we will be collecting food for the next month prior to
the Food Drive on October 10. Please watch for sales and buy food
and personal care items and bring them to church between
September 13 and October 4. Thank you in advance!

 We thank God for the work of Keith & Mari Beavon and the Wycliffe Bible Translators.
 We thank and praise God for Kaleab Marshall and his baptism today.
 We pray today for friends of Brad & Gracia Class’ son. Friends Brian & Shannon had their car hijacked
in California. Brian was beat up badly and Shannon was run over, left blinded in one eye with ribs
 Please keep Lacey Thorner (Wylie) and her baby son in your prayers. The baby is due in November.
 Pray for encouragement and strength for Al Grimm at the Veteran’s Facility.
 We praise God for good reports for Christy Kleymeer.
 We pray for strength and encouragement for all those who struggle with daily activities.
 Please be in prayer as we kick off our fall season of activities.
 Pray for Thom McGuire and all the volunteers as Club 3:16 begins this week.
 We thank God for the many people that have already volunteered to help at Grace. We pray that more
will be moved to do so.
