Prayers & Praise Line

September 2, 2012

Church Plant Prayer Focus

Thank you for your faithful prayers for our block parties.

More than 200 neighborhood homes within in blocks of this campus

received 3 mailings inviting them to Connections. Over 100

neighbors without a church home attended the block parties. In

follow-up visits, we personally spoke with more than half of those

homes. These neighbors will be our forward focus with letters, visits

 and service projects.

 Please pray for:

- Opportunities to invite neighbors and businesses to join

 Connections.

- New families joining in God’s plan for Connections.

- Connections families actively sharing their faith and building

 relationships of trust.

- Fundraising success and local church supporters.

Congregational Prayers and Praise

Please call the office if you would like to share a prayer request!

  • We are so blessed today and thankful today for our families.
  • We pray today for Lucille Sytsema as she prepares to undergo surgery on Thursday. May she feel God’s presence surround her.
  • Pray today for Willie Hiemstra. May this time of healing and rehab go well.
  • We pray for continued healing and strength for Jim Herrema.
  • We remember in prayer the following family or friends of our members that are ill or receiving treatments: Lola De Young, Curt Boes, Dan De Vries.
  • Keep these friends and family serving in the military in your prayers: Amie Pierce, Mitch Dekker, Brent Wenzel, Adam Simons, Justin Roelofs.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mrs Tena DeVink, Mrs Miriam Schrotenboer, Mrs Anne Hoezee, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.

As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write

them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week.

Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
