We joyously welcome you to Grace.  The Psalmist wrote
“O Lord of hosts, happy is everyone who trusts in you.”  Let us be open today to the happiness and joy that
God offers each of us.  We are pleased that each of

 Pastor Kroeze will lead our service and share the message.
 
OUR MINISTRY OF MUSIC this morning is presented by Don Mc Dougall. 
 Don is a former member of our congregation.  Thank you for being
 with us and sharing your testimony in song this Lord’s day.
 
THE SUNDAY SCHOOL GUIDE CLASS will meet in the Consistory Room.
 
WE WILL NOT HAVE AN EVENING SERVICE AT GRACE.

 celebrate our volunteers from last year as well as to give you an
 opportunity to find a place to get plugged in to the excitement

 STUDENTS FALL KICK OFF “PASS THE BATON”. The fun
 includes obstacle course, scavenger hunt, relay races, prizes,
 food, fun, and fellowship!  Contact Darrell if you have any
 questions.
 
PRAYERS & PRAISE
 
HEALTH CONCERNS – Curt Boes is a patient at Butterworth Hospital
 following a mild heart attack.  Please keep Curt & Mary in your
 prayers this week.  See the Prayers & Praise Line inserted in your
 bulletin today for all the Prayer Requests and Praise Reports.
 
IN APPRECIATION – We thank all in our family at Grace for the visits,
 cards and prayers these last few weeks.  Bill requires no more
 treatments and Ruth will have a radiation checkup on Sept. 19.

NEXT SUNDAY – SEPTEMBER 10, 2006
 
NEXT SUNDAY Pastor Rick will begin a new series of messages titled
 “Core Values for Church and Life” ~ a series of sermons on our non-
 negotibles.  See the insert in your bulletin today for all the details. 
 We will also dedicate our teachers and leaders for the fall season and
 present all the opportunities that will be available to youth and adults
 alike this fall. 
 
6:00 PM Join us in the CHAPEL for the evening worship service.  Pastor
 Rick will begin a fall series “Where Sin and Sacred Meet ~ A Biblical
 Perspective on the Middle East”.  A time of discussion will follow the
 message.
 
ALASKA INFORMATIONAL MEETING - Imagine a setting where every view
 looks like a postcard – an unspoiled landscape overflowing with
 God’s beauty.  This is Alaska, the site of Eaglecrest’s unique
 leadership development experience for adults and high school &
 college age students dedicated to deepening their faith.  Please
 prayerfully consider if this exciting challenge could be directed at
 YOU.  On July 21 – 31, 2007 a group from Grace will be traveling to
 Alaska for this Spiritual & Leadership Development trip.  If you
 would like to hear more, please mark one of the following mandatory
 informational meetings on your calendar:

 donated school supplies.  Over 200 boxes of crayons, 133 notebooks,
 768 pencils, and much…much more was donated!  We filled the 5
 boxes to overflowing!!  Thank You!

BELONGING CLASS (New Member Class) – Explore what it means to
 belong to Jesus Christ and His Church.  If you want to learn more
 about the Reformed Church, or, if you would like to make Profession
 of Faith, you will want to become part of this 6 week class that will
 begin this September 24.
 
PEDER EIDE will be in concert TONIGHT at the Grand Haven Waterfront
 Stadium at 7:30 pm.  This singer and speaker has a heart for teens!
