TODAY AT GRACE
THIS MORNING Pastor Rick will begin a new series of messages
Connected in Colossians. See the insert in your bulletin for
all the details. Following the morning service information will be
presented on all the opportunities available for both youth and adults
this fall season. Tables will be set up in the fellowship hall with
details and a DINNER of BBQ, salads and desserts will be served!
CHILDREN & WORSHIP will not meet this week. Children &
Worship will kick off the fall season NEXT SUNDAY!

HEALTH CONCERNS – Ade Peterson is a patient at Blodgett after

OUR CHRISTIAN SYMPATHIES are extended to the family of Leora Totten
who passed away on Tuesday, September 4 at the age of 85. Services
were held on Saturday with Pastor Rick officiating.

THE SPECIAL OFFERING for the month of September is designated for
Western Theological Seminary. This offering will take the place of
the designated amount that has been in our yearly budget in the past.
NOTE: CHILD PROTECTION POLICY – Everyone, including High School
Youth and older, planning on being involved in children/youth work
at Grace (including Bible School) must attend a meeting
on the Child Protection Policy. The last meeting will take place on
Tuesday, September 11 at 8:00 pm. If you have not been able to
attend a meeting, please see Darrell or Nikki.
VIS (VOLUNTEERS IN TRAINING) EVENT – If anyone would like to attend
the VIS Leadership Training Event which is to be held Thursday,
September 27 from 7:00 – 9:45 pm at Brookside CRC, please pick up
a copy of the workshop details on the narthex table. The cost of the
event, $20 will be paid by church if needed but we do encourage you
to pay this (if you are able) up front, or in your giving to the church.
Please respond by turning in your application to Shari by Sunday,
Sept. 16, so we can get the reduced rate.
FAMILY NETWORK OF WYOMING 1st ANNUAL BENEFIT CONCERT will be
held September 30 at 7:30 pm. The concert will take place at Grace
Bible College, 1011 Aldon SW, GR. The concert will feature
The Singing Hims and Tommee Profitt.
WORDS OF HOPE BANQUET – You are invited to the annual banquet at
Sunnybrook Country Club on Friday, Sept. 21. Punchbowl at
6:00 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm. Guest speaker will be Haluk Bilgen,

Sept. 3 at the age of 28 ~ Hope was a dear friend of the Delaney family
and has been on our prayer list since being diagnosed with cancer
