DISCOVERY KIDZ AND PARENTS – Discovery Kidz will take a

 few weeks off so Ms. Heather can prep for some fun summer lessons! 

 Discovery Kidz will be under construction through July 6.  Classes

 will resume with a fun summer theme on July 13!


A PRAYER GROUP will meet following the service in the sanctuary

 to pray for Pastor George & Connections, and the needs and vision at

 Grace Reformed Church.


THE CONSISTORY will meet briefly in the Consistory Room

 following this morning’s service.






HEALTH CONCERNS – Jim Friar was expected to return to his home

 this week after undergoing heart valve surgery.  For all other prayer

 requests and praise reports, see the Prayers & Praise Line in your

 bulletin today. 


THANK YOU THANK YOU!! We have been beyond blessed this past

 week with a wonderful group of kids filling our sanctuary each

 night. This year VBS was a hit and I could have not done it without

 all of YOU!! Whether you did prep work, donated items, volunteered

 during VBS or prayed for us this week- THANK YOU!!  I truly

 appreciate all of you and all your dedication. ~Blessings, Heather






PARKING LOT PAVING – Our parking lot is scheduled to be paved

 this week!  It will be completely torn up and repaved so church will

 be inaccessible.  You can call the church secretary, Sue Stuk, at 532-

 7729 or email if you have to speak with

 someone or have a bulletin announcement.  PASTOR RICK and

 Donna will be on vacation June 17 – 25.  If a need arises this

 coming week, please call your Elder, or call Sue Stuk at the above

 numbers and she will contact them for you. 




REV BRUCE KUIPER will lead our service and share the message at

 both our morning and evening worship services.  OUR SPECIAL

 OFFERING for the month of June is designated for GRACE

 LEGACY BUILDERS. Rev. Bruce Kuiper is the Pastor and

 President of this men’s ministry that strives to equip men as

 spiritual leaders.  For more information on Grace Legacy Builders,

 be received next week.




THE FELLOWSHIP TEAM will host an outing on July 17, to the

 Picnic Pops to see “A Tribute to the Beatles”.  The show starts at

 7:30 pm.  $15.00 per person.  Sign up in the narthex so tickets can be



MISCELLANEOUS KITCHEN ITEMS that are not needed or we

 have an abundance of, are laid out on a table in the Fellowship Hall.

 Take a look and help yourself.  A small donation would be

 appreciated and would be put toward the purchase of new items.


CHURCH WORLD SERVICE CARE KITS – Thank you to everyone

 who donated items for the Hygiene kits.  We had fun putting the kits

 together in VBS this week! We are short a few supplies to

 complete the kits. We are still in need of the following items:

 wash cloths, hand towels, and nail clippers. 



 narthex table! For the summer months I am looking for 2 shepherds

 each week to help me out. The sign ups are week to week.

Prayers & Praise Line

Congregational Prayers and Praise

  • We thank and praise God today for Fathers, Grandfathers, Husbands, Sons, Brothers, all the men in our lives who mean so much to us.  We thank God for their lives and their love.
  • We are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for the promise of life eternal to all those who believe.
  • We praise God for a great week of Bible School and great volunteers!
  • We pray for our children as summer vacation begins.  We pray for safety and a time for fun and family.
  • We pray for those taking part at the RCA General Synod taking place at Central College in Pella, Iowa from June 12-17.
  • We pray for Jim Friar following heart valve surgery.
  • Remember Trena Battjes following cataract surgery and as she prepares to have her other eye done. 
  • There are many friends and family of our church members that need your prayers this week.  Please continue to pray for Lola De Young and her parents Matt & Lindsey.  Also, Barb, friend of Della Sawyer, undergoing chemotherapy; Marie Mc Donald, friend of Esther Hoag, who has cancer; and Caitlin, friend of Abbey Licari, diagnosed with Leukemia.
  • We pray for all those who are serving in the military.  In particular we pray for Amie Pierce serving in Kuwait.
  • Pray for our Shut-in’s: Mr. Ralph Bolt, Mrs Tena DeVink,Mrs. Wilma Kamphuis, Mrs Ruth Ver Merris.




As other prayers are shared, you are invited to write them down and include them in your prayers for our congregation this week. Please keep the church informed of your prayer needs and praise reports.
